We ate here and did not get the buffet, but crispy chicken which was deep fried in batter with sauce, rice and vegetables, it was very fine and delicious chicken meat and both the curry sauce and the sweet and sour sauce was very good, the service was very friendly. If you like chinese food and want to try something different than schnitzel, burgers or Italian then you won't be disappointed.
We had dinner twice at San Restaurant during our stay in town because I couldn’t stop thinking about my first meal there! Absolutely loved the duck ‘dry pot’ which was not actually dry at all (I never had dry pot before)- it was full of delicious flavor, tender, juicy duck, and seasonings. It wasn’t spicy, as indicated on the menu, it was perfect. Loved it! You can park in one of the lots right by the restaurant.
Spent 3 days in Berchtesgaden and enjoyed two wonderful dinner buffet here. The price was not the cheapest but the food, service and view were both great. They offered authentic Chinese food and refill quickly. Actually we did not expect to find such authentic Chinese food in the town. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. She reminded us which dish has been refilled and encouraged us to stay longer in the restaurant to enjoy the sunset and the night scenery of the town and Alps mountain. When we visited the restaurant the second time, the staff brought out a bottle of water which we forgot to take away last time. We completely fogot it but she carefully kept it for us, amazing!
The food is delicious and it a very good portion. The service is friendly. Beautiful location on top of the mountain and a great view. We enjoyed our lunch overall.

Very good place, highly recommend. I tried beef bibimbap and some sushi. The family that works there is very nice. Amazing view!
Had our best Chinese dinner in this restaurant along the Main Street to the historical town centre of Berchtesgaden. The soup was mediocre. The braised pork ribs were well marinated and tender. The mixed veggie was fried to perfection with balanced seasoning. Not too salty. The serving portion was generous. More than enough to feed two as each main course was served with a bowl of rice. The server provided prompt service and the place was huge
